Healthwatch Sheffield Older People Engagement Plan Focus Group

Healthwatch Sheffield is leading on involving patients, their relatives, carers, and the public in the work of the Accountable Care Partnership (ACP).The ACP involves health, social care and community organisations working better together to improve people’s health, care and wellbeing.

As part of this work they want to find out about older people’s experiences of using health and social care and their views on wellbeing. The event will bring together people aged 65 and over, their relatives, carers and the public with people who work with and support older people. They will work together to create an engagement plan to gather the views and experiences of people aged 65 and over, their families and carers.

They are having an event on Wednesday 23rd January 10.30m to 12.45pm at the Circle, 33 Rockingham Lane Sheffield S1 4FW

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
