Healthwatch Sheffield asks for Your Help in Deciding their Priorities

Healthwatch Sheffield, the local consumer watchdog for health and social care services, are asking for your help to set their priorities.

Healthwatch Sheffield have created an online survey which they hope will help them to paint a picture of where they can best focus their efforts over the next two years.

“Health and social care works best when people are involved in decisions about their treatment and care, but this doesn’t always happen,” Healthwatch explain.

“We are here to help make sure that those designing, running and regulating health and social care listen to people’s views and act upon them.” People speak to Healthwatch about the issues that matter most to them. These experiences are then shared by Healthwatch with local services so that they can be improved.

If you would like to have your say on what Healthwatch should prioritise over the next two years please complete this survey before April 27th.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
