Healthwatch Sheffield Annual Report

Healthwatch Sheffield Annual Report

Celebrating its 10th year as our local consumer watchdog for health and social care services, Healthwatch Sheffield’s annual report for ’23 -‘24 shows the ‘Value of Listening’. Listening to people from all across Sheffield and ensuring your views, experiences and priorities are fed in to NHS and social care services at all levels.

The report covers many of their projects, including work on Long Covid services, palliative and end of life care services and work with children and young people. It also reflects how Healthwatch Sheffield is working to make sure they are hearing from different communities and working collaboratively across South Yorkshire for greater impact.

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
