Health and Care Survey for Over 65s

Health and Care Survey for Over 65s

Healthwatch Sheffield, a watchdog for local health and social care, has launched a survey to find out about the experiences of people aged 65 and over who use health and/or care services.

They aim to work in partnership with local people, to ensure that the views and experiences of our communities are heard by the people making decisions about health and social care.

The survey involves filling in demographic information (optional) and simply ticking ‘agree’ or ‘disagree’ to 10 statements. It should take around 5 minutes to complete.

If you work with people who want to share their experiences contact Healthwatch Sheffield on 0114 253 6688 if you would like them to send paper copies of the survey and freepost envelopes. Then return your completed survey by email to Laura Cook at l.cook@healthwatchsheffield.co.uk or by post to Healthwatch Sheffield, The Circle, 33 Rockingham Lane, Sheffield, S1 4FW . Healthwatch Sheffield may be able to send volunteers to help people fill in the surveys, so please let Laura know if you would like her to arrange a visit.

The survey is open until Monday 9th September.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
