Have Your Say on the Long Term Plan to Improve NHS Services

The NHS in Sheffield is changing, and it needs your help. By 2023 the government will invest an extra £20 billion a year in the NHS. Your local NHS wants to know what you would do to make care better. Now you can help make sure Sheffield invests the money in the right areas by sharing your ideas.

The Long Term Plan has been drawn up by those who know the NHS best – frontline health and care staff, patients and their families and other experts – and claims to be ambitious but realistic. The plan sets out how services will develop over the coming years to improve people’s health and wellbeing. It will give everyone the best start in life, deliver world-class care for major health problems, such as cancer and heart disease, and help people age well. You can find out more about the NHS long-term plan here.

Healthwatch Sheffield has launched ‘What Would You Do?’ to gather feedback from the public on ways to improve local NHS services. Here is the survey which should take around 15 minutes to complete.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
