Sheffield City Council are developing an Inclusion Strategy for Sheffield, working with the Sheffield Parent Carer Forum, schools, health services and other partners.
The Inclusion Strategy will set their priorities and help the council to improve their services for children, young people and families with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) for the next five years.
If you are a parent or carer of a child with a Special Educational Need and/or Disability (SEND) then you can help by telling them what you think.
Sheffield City Council already have lots of information about the challenges that children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and their families face on a daily basis – including from the recent Sheffield Parent Carer Forum ‘State of Sheffield’ questionnaire.
Your views, along with other feedback including the State of Sheffield survey results, will be used to inform the Inclusion Strategy and set the direction of work and improvement for the next five years.
Children, young people and their families will then be consulted on this strategy before it is published.
The survey is open until Sunday 22 September 2019 and can be completed by clicking here
If you have more than one child with SEND, you may wish to complete a questionnaire for each child.
