Have your Say on Housing Strategy

Have your Say on Housing Strategy

Sheffield City Council want to hear your views on the future of housing in Sheffield in their latest call saying Let’s Talk about Sheffield’s Housing Strategy.

Earlier this year, they asked you what mattered to you most about housing in Sheffield and used what you told them to shape their draft Housing Strategy.

Your further input is vital to shaping a Housing Strategy that meets the needs of our community.

Have your say on:
• Housing choices and access to affordable homes
• Help and advice for making homes environmentally friendly and easier to heat
• Local infrastructure, services and creating safe neighbourhoods

Your feedback in their survey will help to finalise a Housing Strategy that “ensures safe, affordable and climate-ready homes for all”.

There’s an Ideas tab on the Let’s Talk page ,which looks like a way to simply flag specific issues people may have if that’s an easier way to engage.

The survey is open until 28 July.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
