Have your say about Advocacy Services in Sheffield

From April 2017 Sheffield City Council will be introducing a centralised advocacy service, called the Sheffield Advocacy Hub. Advocacy services help people to have their voice heard. They help people speak up for themselves and if they can’t, the advocate will speak for them. The Council is still designing how the Advocacy Hub will look.
This survey seeks your views on advocacy services in Sheffield to help the Council shape the new service. It is aimed at people who have used advocacy services or who might need to use them in the future. Families and friends are also welcome to complete the survey. To take part in the survey View Citzen Space .

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.
