Hate and Mate Crime Information Day

We are holding a Disability Hate and Mate Crime Information Day on the 11th August at Sheffield Moor Market, unit MS82 (opposite the café area) from 10am to 4pm. Our Sheffield Voices Learning Disability Group will be showing our Hate and Mate Crime video every hour from 10.30am and providing information about what Hate and Mate Crime is, where to get help and what the Safe Places Scheme is. Please feel free to pop along, meet us and have a chat. You can view our video here.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.
