The DPO Forum England have released a Green Paper Explainer, detailing all the key information about the Government’s proposed cuts, the consultation and how we can have our voices heard.

There are 22 changes proposed including:

•Scrapping the Work Capability Assessment and creating a new single assessment for PIP and UC Health
•Freezing the health element of UC until 2029/30
•PIP Daily Living assessment changes
•Restarting WCA reassessments until the WCA is scrapped

The explainer details the impact of the above changes, as well as how to how to get involved to resist them.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
