Give Your Views on New Health Strategy

Many organisations in Sheffield have been working to improve how they support people living with severe mental illness, learning disabilities, and autistic spectrum
condition, to be healthier.

NHS Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has produced a draft strategy for Sheffield which looks creatively at how people living with these conditions can be supported to have the best possible physical health and live longer and healthier lives

You can read the draft strategy here and in Easy Read .

The CCG has launched a survey asking for your views on the draft strategy and feedback about how the Coronavirus has affected the physical health of the people the draft strategy aims to support.

You can complete the survey here or download an Easy Read version of the survey here.

The deadline for responses to the survey is 7 August 2020.

If you would like to request a paper copy, a translated version, or would like to complete the survey over the telephone please email liz.tooke@nhs.net or call 07980 948809 .

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.
