Give Voice to the Autistic Adult Choir

Give Voice to the Autistic Adult Choir

Are you autistic and enjoy music or singing? In partnership with Burton Street Foundation , The Autistic Adult Choir are starting a free group in Sheffield! They are looking for adults who like to sing or listen to music, who are autistic (no formal diagnosis needed) and might like to be part of a choir that meets once a week. No musical knowledge is necessary !

The choir already has an established group in London who meet both online and in person to sing together and occasionally are invited to perform at events.

If you are interested please contact Jill Bradford, the choirmaster, on 07495725984 so she can get an idea of numbers. Jill will then contact you with details of the first informal session when people will meet each other, have a sing and register their interest going forward.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
