'Get Started with Radio' with Hallam FM and the Prince's Trust

The Prince’s Trust, in Partnership with Sheffield’s Hallam FM have launched the ‘Get Started with Radio’ programme, set to begin in June.

The free one week course is available to 16 – 25 year olds living in and around South Yorkshire, who are not in full time employment, education or training.

Participants will be able to:

  • Use professional broadcasting equipment at the Hallam FM studio
  • Create a podcast and share it with guests as part of the final challenge
  • Start to build a digital CV
  • Meet professional radio presenters and DJs
  • Meet new people; gain confidence, teamwork and communication skills
  • Spend the week in a Radio Station / Studio

The dates for the programme are:
Taster day: Wednesday 6th June 2018
Programme Dates: Monday 11th June – Friday 16th June 2018
Location: Hallam FM, 900 Herries Road, Sheffield S6 1RH
