Free Training for Disabled People to become Gym Instructors

InstructAbility funded by Sport England and offers disabled people free gym instructor training and a voluntary work placement. The aim of the scheme, created by Aspire, the spinal injury charity and delivered in partnership with YMCAfit, is to support disabled people into a fitness career where they can encourage other disabled people to access leisure facilities and enjoy an active lifestyle. InstructAbility are currently advertising this opportunity in Rotherham starting on 25 July ( and an different dates in other parts of the country ) for disabled people to train and qualify as Gym Instructors. For more information, including criteria and the dates of the training, see advert

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
