Want to grow your organisation? Come along to A FREE session with the Voluntary Action Sheffield (VAS)development team and South Yorkshire Funding Advice Bureau (SYFAB) aimed at small local groups in the area. This is the first in a series of workshops across the city for Sheffield groups only.
Learn about:
Funding – the basics of fundraising; where you can get funding from, which sources are best for your group, and how to put a funding bid together. You can discuss getting support outside the session when you are ready to prepare funding bids.
Volunteers – how you can use standard volunteer management processes for a successful volunteering experience for both the volunteer and the group. Focusing on some of the challenging situations that can arise when managing volunteers.
Developing your organisation – planning and networking to help take the community organisation forward, ways to tell your story to share the good work your group does and why, and how they can work with your group to recognise strengths and identify areas for development.
When: Tuesday 3rd October 2017, 11am-2pm.Please arrive at 10.45am to sign in.
