Disability Sheffield and their group for people with learning disabilities, Sheffield Voices are now offering a range of affordable training which is designed and delivered by people with a lived experience of disability.
Kathryn Littlewood.Sheffield Voices Manager and Training Development Manager at Disability Sheffield explains: “Our training is unique and interesting. It can be bespoke to meet the needs of any team and can take place either online or face to face.”
Sheffield Museums say: ‘This training has been hands down one of the best training experiences I have ever had. I enjoyed the fact the training was led people with lived experience of Autism and it not only been an eye opener but has given me much food for thought’. ‘There was lots of opportunity to participate and room for discussions, you have created a nice informal learning environment which I really enjoyed’.

Training is also available for individual employers and personal assistants, funded by Skills for Care and we offer free workplace personal assistant training for disabled employees.
