A crowdfunding campaign has been launched to raise money for Sheffield Cycling 4 All and the Mental Health Cycling project.
The campaign, called Project Chainge, (a playful amalgamation of ‘chain’ and ‘change’) has been launched by Davi Birks, host of the mountain bike and action sports podcast; The HKT Podcast.
Project Chainge is a brand new initiative that hopes to bring the values of The HKT Podcast and wider biking community together to be a force for good, bringing real ‘chainge’ in to people’s lives.
The project aims to raise £2,000 to buy specially adapted bikes to support children and adults with disabilities.
Davi explains that “bikes help us live an active lifestyle and are good for both our physical and mental health. Project Chainge will support charities which provide bikes for children and adults whose access [to adapted bikes] may be limited; ensuring that everyone gets the opportunity to enjoy cycling and all of it’s benefits.”
Every person who makes a donation will automatically go into a prize draw to win prizes from the HKT podcast sponsors and 2018 guests. They have some great prizes, including signed merchandise from Olly Wilkins, Danny Macaskill, Jordie Lunn, Crankworx and more.
