Could You Mystery Shop for Sheffield Theatres?

Sheffield Theatres are on the hunt for some feedback on their current programme of accessible performances and the services that they offer to disabled customers.

Sheffield Theatres are looking for people with a wide variety of impairments to act as “mystery shoppers”. As a mystery shopper you would be given a free ticket to a show at either The Crucible or Lyceum in exchange for a chat about the experience and how the experience could be improved.

It would be particularly useful for the Theatre to discuss their captioned and BSL interpreted performances with people with hearing impairments, as well as to talk about their audio described performances with people with visual impairments. However the Theatre would like to hear from disabled people with a wide range of impairments.

If you have any questions or would be interested in being a mystery shopper then please contact Ben Wilson on b.wilson@sheffieldtheatres.co.uk .

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
