Consultation Plans On Transport 'up North'

A major consultation on transport in the north of England is looking for your views about how you get around.

Transport for the North (TfN) has recently launched their draft Strategic Transport Plan, which sets out how they want to drive economic growth and create a more successful North through improving transport connections. Feedback from members of the public will influence the final plan before it is submitted to the Government later this year.

TfN is now holding a 13-week public consultation and looking for your views in the online consultation and at events planned across the region, including at Doncaster Sheffield Airport, on Wednesday March 21st between 4-7pm.

A full list of events and more information on the consultation is available here .

If you have any questions please e-mail engagement@transportforthenorth.com .

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
