The South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (formerly Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group) has launched a consultation today on their proposals to locate several existing GP surgeries in several new hub sites. We are keen to hear your views on these proposals and will be running focus group events to ensure that anything not captured in the consultation survey form is captured.
You will need to look at the full details of the proposal which can be found here and we recommend you read this before completing the consultation survey. You can contact us at consultations@disabilitysheffield.org.uk if you have any accessibility difficulties using the materials prepared by the NHS.
The first consultation event will be held online on Monday the 22nd of August at 2pm. Please email consultations@disabilitysheffield.org.uk if you would like to take part and discuss the proposals. We are also arranging to host sessions with several partner organisations and specialist groups including:
- Sheffield Voices for people with learning difficulties or autism. (Date to be arranged).
- Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind for people experiencing sight loss on the 21st of September. This session will include extra description for maps where details are difficult to produce in a clear alternative format. Contact SRSB for details.
- … and other organisations where we will share details when confirmed.
In addition to the above the Deaf Advice Service are running a specific session for the Deaf community. They will publicise their event through their usual communication channels. We will attend the session to ensure we have the full picture of impact.
