Community Safety Lifewise Sessions

The Lifewise Centre are holding two open sessions on Thursday 20th February for community groups, social groups or individuals who work or support adults (18+) with special educational needs or learning difficulties.

The sessions will be taking place at the Lifewise Centre, Kea Park Close, Hellaby Industrial Estate, Rotherham, S66 8LB from:

10:30 am – 12 pm &

13:0 pm – 14:30 pm

The sessions allow participants with support to practice life skills within a safe environment i.e. road safety, online safety, home fire safety, shopping etc. All activities will take place on their interactive life like set where participants can practice skills at their own pace. Staff from South Yorkshire Police, South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue and South Yorkshire Safer Roads Partnership will also be there to provide information and advice.

There is no cost to attend this event, but booking is essential as places are limited. Participants do not need to attend for the full two hours of the chosen session but can drop in as and when.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
