Community Catalysts Launch The Buzz

Community Catalysts Launch The Buzz

Community Catalysts, a collection of social care and health professionals have launched an exciting new online platform called The Buzz.

The Buzz has been designed to be inclusive and accessible to a wide audience including people with a learning disability. It is a collection of free videos with activities you can do at home.

The activities will be things like art, exercise, cooking and learning. New videos are posted every Monday – so make sure you check back each week.

Each video is produced by one of the many community enterprises who have been supported by Community Catalysts. All the enterprise leaders are experienced in running inclusive, accessible and fun sessions designed to keep everyone motivated, energised and entertained during lockdown.

New videos will be added to the dedicated Facebook group every weekday, and weekly on the Small Good Stuff website.

Facebook group members can use the group to share their ideas, send in pictures of the things they have created and let the group know how they are getting on with the activities.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.
