Phase 2 of the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) community consultation has now begun. Almost 100 individuals from underrepresented communities took part in Phase 1 of this research throughout November. You might have been contacted to participate in Phase 1 of this research, and if so please note that we would still like to hear from you.
South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation has been commissioned by the CCG to give a voice to seldom heard groups across South Yorkshire regarding five NHS provisions:
• Urgent care
• Maternity
• Unwell Children
• Strokes
• Gastroenterology
Following on from Phase 1 which focused on BAME community, young people, elderly and young carers, we are now particularly interested to hear from other groups who may experience barriers to accessing services or who are underrepresented in healthcare decision making. Those include, but are not limited to: drug or alcohol dependent communities, learning disabilities and mental health communities, physical disability groups and LGBT groups.
To participate please follow this link to our short survey . Please note the deadline is 24th January 2018
Any questions relating to the survey and/or its distribution please contact Sonia Bielaszewska on 0114 261 5144 or mail SoniaB@sycf.org .
