Care Quality Commission 'Tell us about your Care'

The Care Quality Commission(CQC)inspects and monitors the care that services provide. The CQC is working in partnership with leading charities including Disability Rights UK (DRUK)to give disabled people and people with long term health conditions the chance to tell the CQC about their experiences of the health and social care services they use.

If you have experienced poor care, or know that poor care is being provided somewhere you can report it to the CQC, anonymously if you wish by Sharing Your Experience . You can also tell them when you feel you have received good care.

By sharing your experience you are not making a complaint . Find out more about the purpose of sharing your experience on the Share your experience guidance page.

The information you give CQC will help them to decide when, where and what to inspect. This is your chance to help make care better.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
