A number of people have expressed concern about the care that they or a relative/friend have received at home and so Healthwatch Sheffield is researching this. Care at home can include anything from help with shopping, cleaning, personal care, cooking meals or taking medication. While a lot of care provided in people’s home is excellent, a recent report from Sheffield City Council called Independent, Safe and Well suggests that people in Sheffield are less happy with their care and support than in the Yorkshire and Humber region and nationally.
