Sheffield City Council has commissioned the Endorphins Group to supply a new fully funded key worker service to assist clients aged 18+ who are unemployed or economically inactive to find work.
The service is free of charge providing ongoing 1:1 support and delivering group activities such as stress management, customer services, collaboration, boosting confidence, managing finances, emotional intelligence, CV fine tuning and interview readiness.
With the current COVID-19 restrictions Endorphins is delivering their service by phone and online 1:1 or group sessions until the government states it’s safe to do so otherwise.
The Endorphins team are experienced in supporting job seekers with multiple, significant, and often complex barriers to employment, particularly people with long-term physical or mental health problems and people with learning disabilities or autism.
Lead Worker Paul says “Our staff have worked with people who have been held back because others have seen their disability and not their potential. We believe in challenging society’s stereotypes and supporting everyone to reach their goals and see just what they can do.”
