Boxing Clever At Our Great New Activity

Boxing Clever At Our Great New Activity

They’ve done fitness, yoga and dance – now a bit of boxing is on the list of lockdown activities supplied by Sheffield Cycling 4 All.

Boxercise 4 All starts on Monday February 15 between noon and 1pm and is a fun, inclusive class for people with disabilities and long-term health conditions. It lasts around 50 minutes and is led by Beth from Jazzy B Fitness.

It’s a great boxing-based workout suitable for all fitness levels and abilities which can be performed seated or standing. This class is fun, effective and will have you feeling fantastic by the end. You don’t need any equipment or a partner (although PAs and family or friends are welcome), you can do it while either sitting or standing and you can wear whatever you want.

To attend you will need to fill out a health form health form and a form for their funders. Particpants will then be sent out the Zoom ID and password the day before the class.

Anyone who need help with filling in the from or has any questions or support needs can email info@sheffieldcycling4all.org or call or text Rosemary on 07565 695296.

Like their Move And Chat, Yoga 4 All and Dance 4 All sessions it is free of charge but donations to Disability Sheffield (which runs Sheffield Cyling 4 All) are always appreciated. You can donate at: https://www.disabilitysheffield.org.uk/donate

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference
