Are you a driver or someone who uses blue badge spaces? If so you might be interested in hearing about and sharing your thoughts on some current work on Electric Vehicle (EV) charging points.
Our friends at Sheffield Transport 4 All are looking for any views on whether EV Charging points should be mandatory, for all, some, or none of the Blue Badge accessible parking spaces at future railway stations. You might also have thoughts on what makes the spaces and electric charge point accessible. The Department for Transport is consulting currently on the Accessible Railways Stations Code of Practice and your thoughts could be rolled into a wider response. Sheffield city council will also soon be installing a small number of on street chargers in a few different neighbourhoods in Sheffield.
