Being a Good Employer Training Modules

Do you employ your own Personal Assistants or Carers but want more skills and knowledge to boost your confidence as an employer? Or are you looking to hire them but don’t know where to start? Then our free courses are for you! Our training on ‘Being a Good Employer’ for individual employers is split into three modules. You can attend all three or which ever ones you feel necessary for yourself.

Venue: Sheffield Carers Centre, Ground Floor East, Concept House, 5 Young Street, Sheffield S1 4UP

Time: 11am to 3.30pm

Module 1Advertising and Recruiting takes place on Monday 24 September

Module 2Induction and Probation takes place on Monday 1 October

Module 3Supporting and Supervising Personal Assistants on Monday 8 October

Booking on these courses is essential. In order to reserve a place or for further information, please email tess.daly@disabilitysheffield.org.uk .

Lunch will be provided. If you have any specific dietary requirements, please let us know when booking a place.
