A 2020 Vision of Health & Social Care - Comment on the Plans

NHS Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group ( CCG ) wants to ‘change the balance’ between hospital and community, with more care closer to your home and wants to reduce early death ensuring fair access to health care for everyone. If they are to continue to meet people’s needs in Sheffield the NHS and social care services need to change how they work. NHS organisations in Sheffield and Sheffield City Council are working together to talk to the public about why they think they need to change and what those changes should look like. Please share your thoughts on their plans for a 2020 Vision of Health & Social Care by taking part in their survey .

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
