disgraceful.” These are a few comments expressed at our recent focus group. Participants gave their open and honest feedback about the barriers and issues across Sheffield centre for Blue Badge holders, captured in our report.

Blood Pressure UK, the only UK charity dedicated to lowering the nation’s blood pressure to prevent stroke and heart disease, has launched its annual ‘Know Your Numbers Week’ ( 2-8 September ). This year the focus is on home blood pressure monitoring.

Sheffield City Council has an opportunity to secure funding for future schemes which will help make walking, wheeling and cycling in neighbourhoods safer and more attractive. By wheeling they mean using wheelchairs, mobility scooters or buggies. They want to better understand the challenges you face.
