Sheffield Voices self-advocacy group for people with learning disabilities and autism would like to thank everyone who came to, shared, and told their friends and work colleagues about their Big Voice event on 27 June at the Town Hall. After a year of ‘We speak, You Listen’ events we want to come together as a community to celebrate so please join us for our fun, interactive, all day conference at Sheffield Town Hall on the 27th of June from 10-3pm, with lunch included! This event is for people with a learning disability and Autistic people living in the Sheffield area. You can come as part of a group, or by yourself. Everyone is welcome.

Congratulations to Sheffield Voices which has received 1 of 42 grants issued by the Tramlines Trust. Thanks to their funding for charities, grassroots community organisations and projects in the Sheffield area the award will support the development of Sheffield Voices’new LGBTQ+ cafĂ© for autistic adults.

Catch up and get involved with a drama group with a difference celebrating their first anniversary.Pyjama Drama has helped to put Disability Sheffield’s learning disablity group, Sheffield Voices, on the map nationally as a self-advocacy group that is challenging assumptions and practices in a creative way and is looking for new members from November 2022.
