We Speak, You Listen

Sheffield Voices are working in partnership with Sheffield Health and Social Care and Healthwatch to find out what people want mental health services for people with learning disabilities and Autism to look like going forward.

Pyjama Drama's Success Story

Catch up and get involved with a drama group with a difference celebrating their first anniversary.Pyjama Drama has helped to put Disability Sheffield’s learning disablity group, Sheffield Voices, on the map nationally as a self-advocacy group that is challenging assumptions and practices in a creative way and is looking for new members from November 2022.

Launchpad at Sheffield Theatres

Getting a Diagnosis for Autism in Sheffield

Move More Big Health Event

Speakup Rotherham are holding their annual Keeping Healthy event in Sheffield with partners at the English Institute of Sport Sheffield on 12th September from 10am to 2.30pm.They have 100 spaces for adults with learning disabilities and autistic people from across Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley, to try sporting activities and attend workshops. If you want to go you need to book.

Sheffield Voices Health Consultations Report

Autism Post Diagnostic Research Findings

Earlier this year three online workshops for autistic adults were held at the University of Sheffield to hear their views on what post-diagnostic support should look like for autistic adults. Researchers Dr Megan Freeth, Dr Daniel Poole and Suzy Crowson are sharing their findings from their research study on improving support for autistic adults at an online workshop on Thursday 30th June from 1-2pm.
