Are you aged between 18 to 25, from a marginalised group, but still want to achieve your goals? Well help may be at hand.
Charity The Policy Centre for African Peoples, (known as PCAP), which works to enable African and disadvantaged people of all ethnic origins to improve their lives through education, leadership training and social engagement, is looking to support up to ten young people aged 18-25 who have lived experience of either poverty, mental health or discrimination, as Youth Innovation Fellows.
Thanks to funding from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, one of the largest independent grant-makers in the UK, they will be providing all Youth Innovation Fellows with free, personalised support packages for up to 6 months. The packages include:
- Tips to improve motivation and self-confidence;
- Coaching to overcome challenges and achieve goals;
- Techniques to improve wellbeing and capacity for self-care.
You can find information on the scheme here. If you want to know more you can email info@pcap.org.uk or call them on 07765 414274.
