Would you like Something Saved and Remade ?

Have you got an object you love but never use? A new BBC2 series called Saved and Remade will soon be filming in Yorkshire and is looking for people to take part. The Casting Producer has contacted Disability Sheffield to say that inclusion is very important to them and they would like to ensure disabied people are represented.

The series will see a team of expert craftspeople take much-loved but unused objects from members of the public and transform them into something completely different; giving them a new lease of life and a real purpose that their owners will actually use.

If you have an item you’d like them to transform into something different please get in touch on 0141 343 7782 or Email transform@redskyproductions.co.uk

The closing date to apply is 30 November 2020

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.
