The People's Projects - Vote now!

For the 13th year, the Big Lottery Fund, ITV, STV and The National Lottery are teaming up to give the public a chance to decide how National Lottery funding should be put to good use in their local area. Since 2005, around £39 million has been awarded through this partnership to 865 good causes across the UK. A share of up to 33 million of National Lottery funding is up for grabs. This is your chance to vote for the projects you would like to receive funding.

Groups are competing for up to £50,000 of funding to improve the lives of people in their communities.

You have until midday on Monday April 30th to cast your vote by visiting the The People’s Projects website or call 0800 197 8610.

95 organisations have been shortlisted across the UK, and voting is split in to regions. Local organisations competing for funding include the ‘Farm Days Dementia project’ at Heeley City Farm, and the LGBT Sheffield project, ‘Out and About’
Out and About .

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
