Stroke Workshop Looking for Attendees

As part of the work around stroke and proposed new ways of working, NHS Sheffield is holding a workshop 7 December at the Source (Meadowhall) Sheffield.

The workshop is looking for four to five people to take part in discussions around ‘new models’ and to feed their views into discussions around access, discharge, community care and patient information leaflets etc.

The views of patients, carers and family members on this is really important and the NHS is keen to ensure their voices are heard.

The day starts at 9am and is expected to run until around 4pm. Travel costs will be reimbursed and lunch will be provided.

If you would like to attend or would like more information please contact Helen Stevens at Helen.stevens11@nhs.net or tel: 0114 305 1118

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
