Sheffield Sensory Library

Autism Plus has opened a sensory equipment and aids library where items can be borrowed and trialled at home before individuals and families decide to purchase their own. The library includes fidgets, lighting and projectors, gym balls and other equipment to help children and adults destress and feel more relaxed. The library at The Exchange Brewery, 2 Bridge Street, Sheffield, S3 8NS is open on Fridays from 11am to 1pm every week from Friday 5th February, there is no need to book an appointment. When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
