Sheffield Patient Participation Group Network Meeting

Sheffield Patient Participation Group Network Meeting

The Sheffield Patient Participation Group (PPG) Network brings together members of local Patient Paticipation Groups (PPGs) from across Sheffield. The aims of the network are:

  • To allow PPGs to network with each other across the City
  • To engage with PPGs about local health and social care services
  • To provide PPGs with information about local health and social care services

Taking place on Thursday 19th March at The Circle, 33 Rockingham Lane, Sheffield, S1 4FW, this event gives attendees the chance to meet with PPG members from across Sheffield to talk about some of the pressing issues and developments of health care in Sheffield.

Previous PPG networks have provided opportunities to find out more about, discuss and help shape a wide range of health services in Sheffield, including:

  • Patient Experience in GP practices
  • Urgent Care services
  • Neighbourhoods
  • Elective Care – Care Closer to Home
  • South Yorkshire Sustainability and Transformation Plan
  • Primary Care

Participants have also benefited from networking with other PPG members from across the City, as well as co-producing resources to help them develop and run their own PPGs.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
