Sheffield Move More Month is Coming!

The Move More campaign in Sheffield is a cross sector approach to ensure that Sheffield becomes the most active city in the UK by 2020 – and as a result see meaningful improvement in the health, wellbeing and quality of life of everybody living in the city.

June is Move More Month when partners from across Sheffield will play host to Move More activities of all kinds to encourage you to get more active. Meet some Move More People for inspiration.

A great way to start your journey to getting active is by downloading the Move More App. The app is designed to support people in adopting a healthier lifestyle, and is designed to be fun and to generate a sense of city cohesion.

Have a look at our Inclusive Exercise Factsheet produced by the information team here at Disability Sheffield.

What do you think of the Move More app and our Inclusive Exercise factsheet? Let us know about your favourite activities or if you take up the challenge to get more active in the Move More Month in the comments below.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference
