Opportunity Sheffield are the Council’s employment and skills service. They work to create employment opportunities and break down barriers to employment, particularly for people who are furthest from the labour market.
The Teacake Club (pictured) is an informal group of members from various local organisations who regularly exchange information on employment-related activity in Sheffield, typically services, projects, training courses, jobs fairs and vacancies.
Opportunity Sheffield now rounds up this information in a newsletter called ‘The Teacake.’
