The national charity Scope exists to make this country a place where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else, saying “Until then, we’ll be here”.
Scope’s online community is a place where disabled people, parents, carers and professionals can come to discuss all topics relating to disability. You can ask questions, share your experiences and get much needed support with any issues you currently face.
Thousands of members share their experiences of everything from benefits to relationships, housing to care plans. We are a safe and welcoming place to chat and get advice and information from our team of advisors.
Do you have a question? We have advisors in benefits, mental health, diet and nutrition, parenting, sex and relationships, audiology, assistive technology and many more.
It is a friendly and warm site kept safe by the community team and a team of volunteers called Community Champions.
Every week we share guest posts from disabled people who have a story to tell, including bloggers, campaigners, parents and celebrities, We are proud to have great stories from real people who are passionate about what they do.
We have lots of great resources to share with members, including benefits calculators, how to videos and hints and tips from disabled people.
Everyone is welcome to join us and chat about life as a disabled person from the day to day to the difficult times. If you’d like to join us, we have put together a How To Guide that will tell you how to register and join in with our thriving community.
