SC4A Calls For Your Votes

Sheffield Cycling 4 All ( SC4A ), our accessible and inclusive cycling project, is hoping to have its funding wishes granted – and is looking for your vote to help it achieve this aim.

The organisation was set up to ensure people with a range of disabilities can experience the joys of getting on a bike and taking a ride. It holds twice-weekly sessions in Hillsborough Park plus sessions which are impairment specific.

SC4A is thrilled to have been selected for the voting stage of the TransPennine Express Transform Grants which supports community projects that seek to tackle/promote social inclusion and improve the environment.

The Sheffield Cycling 4 All bid is for purchasing two-wheeled bikes to offer family rides and rides for people with invisible disabilities.

You can view the videos and vote by following this link. Voting closes at midnight on Sunday 22 March 2020.

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.
