Proposed Change to ASC Charges

Proposed Change to ASC Charges

Sheffield City Council is proposing two changes to the way that they charge for Adult Social Care for full fee payers.

They include:
• Increasing the maximum charge for care in your own home
• Introducing an annual fee for arranging, monitoring, and administrating care

The Council is writing to people who are affected by these changes, asking for their views. This change will affect people who:

  • Receive higher levels of care at home, and
  • Have savings or assets above £23,250

There is also a public consultation which is open to everyone.

Recent Feedback

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
