A blind student has been banned from bringing her white cane to school because of “health and safety” reasons. Lily-Grace Hooper, seven, had a stroke when she was just four days old, leaving her only able to perceive light and shapes out of one eye. The BBC’s Inside Ouch podcast has discussed the ins and outs of the story. Listen to the programme on BBC Ouch’s podcast page, and for more on this story view Telegraph article.
