Northern Rail want your Feedback on the Design of their New Train Seats

As part of their commitment to making the right improvements for their customers Northern Rail are holding a series of drop-in roadshow events across the network of stations to gather feedback on one of the key design features of their new trains, the seats.

The new seats roadshows represent the first of many engagement events the company are planning to gather the opinions of their customers so that they can inform and influence their travel experience in the future.

The new seats roadshow will be in Sheffield at Sheffield Train Station on 19 and 20 September from 10am to 7pm.

Do you think train seats are suitable in their current state for disabled travellers, or could they be improved? Do you think enough thought goes into the design of seats when it comes to the needs of disabled travellers? Let us know in the comments below, or over on our Facebook or Twitter.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
