NHS “Blood in pee” Campaign

The NHS Be Clear on Cancer “Blood in pee” campaign is aimed at people aged 50+ who show early symptoms of bladder and kidney cancer. They recommend that if people or their carers notice blood in their pee, even if it’s ‘just the once’, they should tell their doctor. Early diagnosis of bladder and kidney cancer increases the chances of survival. Some symptoms may be caused by an infection or bladder or kidney stones, all of which may need treatment. But don’t try and diagnose yourself. Go and see your doctor now to find out for sure. Read more here . An easy read version is available here . Information for Carers is here

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
