Move More Metro: May Edition

Move More Sheffield is a city wide project aiming to make Sheffield the most active city in the UK by 2020.

Move More wants to see real improvement in the health, wellbeing and quality of life of everybody living in the city.

Move More Metro is the organisation’s online newspaper, keeping readers up to date with sports and health news and events throughout Sheffield.

The Move More Metro May 2019 issue includes some great stories, including a world record attempt, ‘Cycling without Age’ to combat loneliness amongst care home residents, news about school activities in Sheffield, a walking employment project and a front page story on Sheffield’s Move More Month coming up in June.

You can also keep up to date with Move More on Twitter at @MoveMoreSheff and by downloading the Move More Sheffield app.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
