Mental Health Service Improvement Forum Launch

Do you, or anyone you care for, use adult mental health services or have you had a mental ill health diagnosis? Would you like to work with Sheffield City Council to help make sure their services meet your needs? The Mental Health Service Improvement Forum (SIF) has its first meeting on Wednesday 2 December starting at 10am in the Town Hall. The SIF will put its members at the centre of decisions on service planning and enable them to work together with senior managers to find ways to make things better for people with mental health conditions in Sheffield. View Sheffield City Council website for further details.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
