Irwin Mitchell Photography Competition

‘ Embracing Progress ‘ is a photography competition organised by Irwin Mitchell Solicitors in association with Walking with the Wounded and media partners the Evening Standard, the Independent and i. The judges are looking for attention grabbing images that are positive, empowering and demonstrate that every disabled person has the right to live their life and embrace their disability to achieve their goals. There are 4 categories to enter for 17s and under and 18s and over:-

  • Ambition
  • Independence
  • People
  • Work/Education

All abilities are welcome and winners will be judged on individual merit rather than photographic technique. The closing date is by midnight on Sunday 22 November. View Irwin Mitchell website to find out more and to enter.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
